Privacy Ref’s AI Assessments focused on knowing if your organization is ready to use AI enabled products or tools and what is needed in order to close gaps with AI policies or procedures. Whether you are looking to comply with a specific law or want to make sure existing policies or procedures meet industry standards, Privacy Ref’s AI Assessments will get your company on the right track.

Privacy Ref will:

• Assign two consultants to complete the assessment
• Review artifacts, such as written policies and procedures related to the use, procurement, implementation, or review of artificial intelligence
• Conduct interviews with key individuals who are using or overseeing the use of AI programs of products and those in charge of AI related policies and procedures
• Produce meeting minutes related to those interviews
• Create a preliminary document detailing the findings of the assessment process
• Deliver a final report document with findings, recommendations, and frameworks laying out gaps and priorities to improve the use of AI at the organization

We will assess:

• Use of AI
• AI policies/procedures
• AI vendors
• AI laws/privacy laws

In particular, Privacy Ref will focus on the information used to train and test your AI. This includes the data that will be used and where it came from to ensure bias is considered and handled appropriately.
