There are many ways to prepare for taking a certification exam from the International Association of Privacy Professionals. No matter how you study, there always seem to be some questions that remain. Privacy Ref can help.
Privacy Ref Certification Study Groups provide a way for up to 20 participants (minimum of 3 participants required) to work together to prepare for an IAPP exam. Each session is focused on one or more sections of the body of knowledge and is led by an IAPP Fellow of Information Privacy appropriately certified.
For U.S. Private-sector Privacy, CIPP/US, there are three different sections for the study group:
- Introduction to the U.S. Privacy Environment
- Limits on Private-sector Collection and Use of Data
- Government and Court Access to Private-sector Information, Workplace Privacy, and State Privacy Laws
You may sign up for each of these sections independently. The study group sessions are intended to be very interactive. Questions for discussion may submitted prior to the class to firstname.lastname@example.org or raised at the time of the session.
Please note that Privacy Ref Certification Study Groups are not affiliated with the IAPP nor do we have direct knowledge of the contents of the examinations.
