What’s New

With 2021 almost over, we have taken a look at our offerings at Privacy Ref and wanted to share what we are working on.

Training

Training has begun picking up and we have seen an incredible response from participants. Privacy Ref has begun to offer in-person, instructor led training in our Delray, Florida and Nashua, New Hampshire offices. As official training partners of the IAPP, we have scheduled CIPP courses into 2022. Most importantly, our classes are guaranteed to run. This means if we have only 1 student, we still run the class.

In addition to the training, anyone who signs up for training with Privacy Ref is entitled to participate in one of our Certification Study Groups. Study groups are led by Privacy Ref consultants where we will discuss how to prepare for exams, and answer questions you might have. You will also have the opportunity to meet with other study group participants and network.

Legal Framework Subscription

A common request from clients is to research current or upcoming laws and outline their compliance. In order to make this easier, we have created several frameworks around US, Chinese, and European privacy laws. Privacy Ref keeps these up to date with the latest regulations, ensuring a fuller picture of your program’s compliance. Finally, the framework is aligned with the FIPPs principles, making it easy to know what needs to be done if gaps exist.

Webinars

As always, Privacy Ref provides free, monthly webinars on a variety of topics, including emerging laws, data breaches, and operationalizing privacy programs. We are always looking for topics of interest, so send any you have to info@privacyref.com or let us know through Twitter or LinkedIn.
