Matthew has bachelor’s degrees in History and Criminal Justice. He gained valuable experience in research methods, writing, and information gathering during his time as an intelligence analyst for the U.S. Army as well as his time working as an analyst in a Global Security Operations Center. During his tenure with Army Intelligence, he learned a variety of methods for determining and valuing research and reports. He also spent a significant amount of time writing reports in a way to best explain this information to a variety of cohorts. During his time as a Global Security Operations Center analyst, Matthew worked on translating raw data into readable reports for higher-ups as well as monitoring constantly changing company policies.
His education background in both history and criminal justice gave him a strong building block for research methods as well as different writing techniques allowing for a diverse style of understanding, depiction, and description of information.
