Ben is a seasoned privacy professional with more than 8 years of experience in the development of privacy policies and procedures with an extensive experience researching privacy law on a variety of topics, including GDPR and CCPA. His focus is multinational, expanding his knowledge and expertise through interactions with Data Protection Authorities and Supervisory Authorities.

Benjamin focuses on the operational privacy requirements of organizations, implementation of Privacy Impact Assessments, Data Subject requests, and other processes; he is highly skilled in developing privacy programs from the ground up. Ben also provides research and advice on addressing the various, sometimes conflicting privacy requirements for marketing departments.

Beyond consulting duties, Ben manages the training operations at Privacy Ref, as well as the partnerships with vendors, analyzing, learning, and assisting with the implementation of multiple privacy tools, helping customers implement and learn to use them.

Ben is an accomplished speaker, instructor, and writer with a keen interest in the root causes of data breaches; he shares his breach insights on his Quarterly Data Breach Review Webinar and writes frequently for the Privacy Ref Blog. To date, Ben has presented numerous webinars to over 3,500 people.
